Racing Against The Clock
High Speed Autocross Racing is one of the easiest and least expensive ways to get on a racetrack. HSAX is run against the clock, instead of directly against other cars. The races are held on wide open race tracks, not on parking lots, so the
driving experience can be as exciting as wheel to wheel racing. For that reason, HSAX is much safer than driving fast on the street- and legal too! As your skill and driving expertise improve, you will see your lap times go down. HSAX is pure driving excitement!

The race day starts with a mini-driver school so novices are welcome. There are multi-lap practice sessions in the morning followed by a minimum of 3 timed runs with class winners awarded a trophy at the  end of the day. All you generally need is a valid state drivers license and an approved Snell helmet. In  addition, your car must pass a technical inspection to ensure its safety and mechanical systems are in good  working condition. Roll bars are required in convertibles and roadsters.

Cars are assigned to classes based on speed potential and level of preparation, so you run against similar cars for trophies and a season point championship. Car classes cover the exotic sports and fully prepared race cars right through economy commuter cars. The emphasis is on “Run what you brung” and have fun - lots of fun!
